Fluorosilicone rubber compound (or FVMQ) is fluorosilicone gum compounded with fillers and additives. It belongs to heat vulcanization rubber which combines the advantages of silicone rubber (VMQ) and fluororubber(FKM). Due to its heat resistance, freeze resistance, oil resistance, fuel oil resistance, and compression recovery properties. It is widely used as parts for automobiles, aircraft and other transporting vehicles and parts for petroleum-related equipment. Compared with traditional silicone compound, FVMQ are oil resistance, fuel resistance. While compared with FKM, FVMQ has better properties on the high temperature and is suitable when using in low temperature. Besides, it is easy to obtain low hardness FVMQ products without any plasticizers.
Keeping good processability while solving the low resilience and structuring problem of FVMQ.
